The most innovative portable incubator
See the project by Mark Lait, an initiative in which the Formula One was essential in making the transferral of babies between hospitals easier thanks to the Baby Pods.
Today’s incubators are generally heavy as well as inflammable, so they do not allow babies to be transferred easily. Thanks to Mark Lait, CEO of the company Advanced Health Care, and his cooperation with the Formula One and carbon fibre, now babies, and above all their families, can get home sooner thanks to the Baby Pods, small portable incubators made in lightweight and strong material similar to that used in Formula One cars.
We tell you about Noah, a girl born with spina bifida and hydrocephaly who need an operation with just one day of life and then to be transferred to another hospital. Thanks to the Baby Pod she was able to go home in just four or five weeks. Her parents could touch their daughter and caress her hand when she woke, making the experience of a problem in the baby’s birth as easy as possible. Step by step, the F1 opens up the way in the world of cars and competition, but above all in the race of medicine by helping industries and people outside the motor sector.
